Kenyas electric motorcycle boom has hit a critical bottleneck: getting hold of batteries and charging them.
The East African countrys registered electric vehicle fleet surged nearly 30-fold, from 1,378 in 2022 to 39,324 in 2025, according to Kenyas e-mobility policy , mainly driven by two-wheelers.
